A round is an approach of grouping one, or more, assessments together. They can then be used to filter candidates by choosing not to invite them to undertake assessments in subsequent rounds.
A practical example is to invite all candidates to complete an initial set of assessments (Round 1) and select better performing candidates to complete subsequent assessments (Round 2).
The Revelian API does not support rounds as a resource. However, as the API does support inviting candidates to individual assessments and, in turn, retrieving candidate scores and candidate suitability scores for one, or more, assessments, integrations can manage rounds by orchestrating requests to the API for the desired ‘round’ of assessments.
This example provides an overview of a workflow to manage 2 rounds and 2 candidates for a given position
Create the position, add the 3 assessments and the 2 candidates to the position
Invite both candidates to Assessment 1 and Assessment 2 (Round 1). Provide the candidate login URL to each candidate
Retrieve and review the candidate suitability scores for each candidate for Assessments 1 and 2 (Round 1). Decide, based on results, to no longer continue recruitment process with Candidate A
Invite Candidate B to Assessment 3 (Round 2). Provide the candidate login URL to Candidate B
Retrieve and review the candidate suitability score for Candidate B for Assessment 3 (Round 2)
Retrieve and review the candidate suitability score for Candidate B for Assessments 1, 2 and 3 (Rounds 1 and 2)
Decide, based on results, to proceed with next phase of recruitment process with Candidate B
